Essential Skills are:
MSc within an Informatics or Informatics related discipline, or an equivalent degree or work experience.
Business Objects or SQL Development Certification
Evidence of continuing studies or professional development particularly with respect to keeping current with NHS Data Definitions and Reporting Requirements
Expert level proficiency in Business Objects, SQL, MoSS and Excel
Able to demonstrate good written and communication skills and abilities
Ability to focus in stressful situations and work effectively under pressure.
Able to time keep effectively, balancing workloads and priorities.

NHS information flows, the NHS data model and using its data sets, NHS structure and strategic drivers
Minimum of 5 years experience providing external and internal information reports for Sitreps, NICE, CQC, SHA, PCT, GP Consortiums and various other external agencies. In areas related to inpatients, outpatients, A&E, diagnostics, performance, and waitlist (e.g. 18 week waits) activity.
Minimum of 5 yrs experience and knowledge of implementing Data Set Change Notices (DCSNs) and of Information Standards Boards (ISB).
At least 3 of the following requirements:
• Experience with Payment by Results (PbR), SUS (commissioning context), ICD-10, OPCS-4, HRG and healthcare commissioning
